School Districts Announce Delayed Openings In Bucks Co.
The following school districts will be operating on a two-hour delay on Monday, Dec. 15, due to weather conditions.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The following school districts in Central and Upper Bucks County have announced delayed openings due to weather conditions on Monday, Dec. 15.
Central Bucks School District
- With icy conditions, especially cold weather and drifting snow impacting the morning commute, the Central Bucks School District will operate on a two-hour delay for all schools and district buildings on Monday, Dec. 15.
Council Rock School District
- All Council Rock Schools and offices will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Dec. 15, due to weather conditions.
New Hope-Solebury
- All New Hope-Solebury Schools and offices will open with a two-hour delay on Monday, Dec. 15. Buses will arrive two hours later, however, parents and students should anticipate delays from weather impacts and road conditions.
Middle Bucks Institute of Technology
- The Middle Bucks Institute of Technology will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Dec. 15. There will be no AM session. MBIT will continue to assess the situation and collaborate with its sending districts if additional changes are necessary.
Pallisades School District
- The Palliades School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Dec. 15, due ot weather conditions. Due to several power outages, the district may have to cancel school. The fiscal committee is still scheduled to meet at 9 a.m., although it may have to be rescheduled due to the power outages.
Pennridge School District
- The Pennridge School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Dec. 15
Quakertown Community School District
- The Quakertown Community School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Dec. 15.
