EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — Forecasters have increased the snowfall estimates in Bucks County for a winter storm moving through Monday. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the county and remains in place through early Tuesday.

Overnight sleet and rain has already begun transitioning to snow, and Bucks County could see five to eight inches, according to estimates released by the National Weather Service early Monday morning.

Many schools across the region have already announced closures. Bucks County government offices are closed for the day.

According to forecasters, the snow will become heavy at times into the evening. The evening commute could be treacherous as the snow will continue throughout the day, ending late Monday.
