DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Doylestown's newest sandwich shop - Steaks On State - will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. at the former site of Coach's Steak and Hoagie House.

The shop's new owners - Jackie and John Stover - have given the 44 East State Street eatery a "serious makeover" and a brand new name to reflect its focus on the "best Philly cheesesteaks, tastiest hoagies, and crispiest fresh-cut fries" around.

According to its website, the Stovers are on a mission to turn Steaks on State into a "destination spot for cheesesteaks fanatics” from locals to out-of-town tourists.
