String of Thefts Strike Maple Avenue Area
Five separate victims reported items stolen last Friday night to Doylestown Borough police.

Several thefts were reported in the area of Maple Avenue, Linden Avenue, and Maple Lane during the overnight hours of Friday, May 3 into Saturday, May 4, according to the Doylestown Borough Police Department.
The first victim reported that approximately $5 in coins was removed from the center console of her unlocked vehicle, which was parked on the 500 block of Linden Avenue.
A second victim reported that a pair of prescription sunglasses, a first aid kit, and approximately $1 in coins were removed from her unlocked vehicle, which was parked in her driveway on the 500 block of Maple Avenue.

A third victim reported that a Cannondale bicycle valued at approximately $1,000 had been removed from his garage.
A fourth victim reported that a Garmin Nuvi GPS unit and a Citizen Eco-drive watch valued at approximately $700 were removed from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on the 500 block of Linden Avenue.
