'Suspicious Person' In Custody For Warrington Thefts: Police

Residents in one Warrington neighborhood should check for missing belongings after a suspicious person was taken into custody, police said.

WARRINGTON, PA — Warrington residents in the area of Crimson Court and Redstone Drive are asked to check for missing belongings after a suspicious person was taken into police custody for an attempted burglary late Tuesday night, police said.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the area around 11:30 p.m. for the report of a suspicious person. Officers found evidence of an attempted burglary and the resident provided police with photographs from a Ring camera.

Officers soon located a subject matching the person in the Ring camera footage. He was taken into custody and was found to have items that he admitted stealing police said.

The suspect was not identified by police.

"You may want to check your sheds or unsecured garages or unsecured vehicles," police told residents in an alert. Residents who find they're missing items should contact Warrington Police.
