Teen Steals Credit Cards, Goes On Spending Spree In Warrington
Police remind the public to lock their vehicles while out or at home to protect their valuables from thieves.
WARRINGTON, PA — A Warwick teenager is facing multiple theft charges after stealing credit and debit cards and attempting to go on a spending spree in the township.
On July 31, a resident told police that while she was at Target, someone stole her debit and credit cards from her vehicle. Her bank later informed her of several attempted and completed fraudulent transactions, including:
- A declined purchase for $207.95 at the Warminster Giant.
- Two Walmart gift card purchases valued at $307.84 each.
- An attempted transaction at Sunoco that was declined.
Police said the suspects also returned to Target, selected a shopping bag, and concealed a camera valued at $84.75 before exiting the store without paying.

The investigation identified one of the suspects as 18-year-old Otabek Melikov of Warwick. A warrant was issued for Melikov’s arrest.
On Aug. 12, Warwick Police stopped Melikov, placed him under arrest, and transported him to the station. He was processed and arraigned by Judge O’Neill, who set bail at $35,000 unsecured. Melikov was released pending further proceedings.

He is charged with two counts of access devise fraud, a third-degree felony; theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor; and two counts of receiving stolen property.
