Temperatures To Dip To 30s Overnight, Frost Advisory Announced In PA

SUBURBAN PHILADELPHIA, PA — The season's first frost advisory has been announced in Eastern Pennsylvania.

The National Weather Service said a frost advisory is in place from midnight through 9 a.m. Friday. Temperatures will dip to the mid-30s across the region overnight, forecasters predict.

"Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," the National Weather Service warned.

Temperatures will reach the mid-60s Friday, and further warm up on Saturday to the mid-70s.

Tonight: Patchy frost after 2am. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 38. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Patchy frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 67. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday night: Clear, with a low around 50. West wind around 5 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 74. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming northeast after midnight.

Sunday: A chance of showers, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday night: A chance of showers before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
