Warrington Woman Charged In Knife Assault On Boyfriend
A domestic dispute escalated on Sunday at Lions Pride Park and ended with the arrest of a 19-year-old woman on aggravated assault charges.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 19-year-old Warrington woman faces multiple charges after attempting to stab her boyfriend with a knife on Sunday during a domestic altercation at Lions Pride Park.
Police responded to the park on Sunday for the report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, police spoke with the male victim who said he and his girlfriend, Rachel Dunkowski, were involved in an argument.
During the dispute, the boyfriend told police that Dunkowski retrieved a knife and attempted to slash the tires of his car. When he intervened to stop her, he told police that she turned the knife toward him and attempted to stab him.

In an attempt to disarm her, the boyfriend sustained a superficial wound to his forearm, police said.
Following the initial assault, police learned that Dunkowski grabbed a second metal object and attempted to slash an additional tire. At that point, the victim called police.

Dunkowski was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated assault, a third degree felony; possession of an instrument of crime and simple assault, both misdemeanors; and the summary offense of harassment.
She was arraigned by Judge Corryn Kronnagel, who set bail at $10,000 or 10 percent cash. Dunkowski was unable to post bail and was subsequently remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
