Few Contested Races for Local Nominations

The following is the unofficial list of candidates running in the May 21 primary election for school board and local municipality seats in Doylestown Borough, Doylestown Township, Buckingham, New Britain Borough and New Britain Township.

Of the 21 municipal races, there are only two primaries that have more candidates than nominations.

The last day to register to vote in the primary election is April 22. Pennsylvania is a closed primary, meaning only registered voters affiliated with a party represented by a candidate can participate. The general election will be held on November 5.
