BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A winter weather advisory is in place in parts of Bucks County for overnight freezing rain that could cause slippery road conditions.
The winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday in Upper Bucks County, as well as Somerset and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey. Total ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are possible.
"Very slippery sidewalks, roads, and bridges are possible, especially untreated surfaces," the National Weather Service warned. "Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury."
