Here is what you should expect:
- Though snow accumulations are expected to be below 2 inches, the combination of sleet on top of snow may create very slippery driving conditions, especially mid-to-late Monday morning.
- Snow and ice amounts will be highly dependent on the timing of precipitation type changes.
- Areas in the advisory are expected to have very slippery conditions due to ice/sleet coming on top of snow.
- The greatest impacts are anticipated to be north and west of I-95.
- Bridges and overpasses will be especially slippery.
- Gusts up to 25 mph are possible Tuesday, which could lead to minor tree damage in areas where ice has accumulated on the trees.
