Woman Steals 45 Cans Of Baby Formula: New Britain Police

Authorities believe the same suspect is behind similar thefts at other area Giant Food stores.

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in New Britain are investigating the theft of 45 containers of baby formula from a local grocery store. Authorities believe the same suspect is behind similar thefts at other area Giant Food stores.

According to New Britain Township Police, the most recent incident was reported on Jan. 31 at the Giant Food Store on County Line Road.

Police obtained surveillance photos from the scene and were able to determine the same woman is likely behind similar baby formula thefts reported at nearby stores.

The suspect is described by police as a black female. At the time of the Jan. 31 theft, she was wearing a black hoodie with white stripes on the sleeves, black long pants, a pink or red shirt underneath and a dark-colored hat, police said.
