Woman Stole $6K In Beauty Products From Warrington Store: Police

An arrest warrant has been issued for her accomplice, who is believed to be living in the Philadelphia area.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A New Jersey woman is facing felony theft charges after stealing more than $6,000 worth of merchandise from a township store.

In December, police responded to Ulta Beauty in the 1500 block of North Main for the report of a theft in progress. The suspects, later identified as 34-year-old Janesha Edith Pickett and 64-year-old Darryl Alexander, both of Burlington, N.J., left before police arrival.

On Dec. 9, Pickett and Alexander are accused of stealing $3,412.91 worth of merchandise from the store. A few weeks later, on Dec. 23, Pickett and Alexander returned to the store and stole another $3,083.74 worth of merchandise, police said.

Officers were able to identify Pickett and two warrants were issued for her arrest. Pickett was arrested in Atlantic County, N.J., and was transported back to Pennsylvania to face charges.

Pickett was arraigned by Judge Wertman, who set bail at $40,000 or 10 percent cash. Pickett was unable to post bail and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Police have also secured active warrants for the arrest of Alexander who is believed to be in the Philadelphia area after being released from custody in New Jersey.
