Workforce On Wheels Making A Stop This Week In Central Bucks

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA —The WOW Bus will be stopping in Central Bucks County this week through a partnership between State Senator Steve Santarsiero (D-10) and the Pennslyvania CareerLink.

WOW stands for "Workforce on Wheels," a mobile PA CareerLink that brings job search resources to job seekers across the county. This week, it will be making a stop on Wednesday, March 26 at the New Britain Township Municipal Complex.

PA CareerLink is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry’s initiative to transform the landscape of how job seekers find family-sustaining jobs and how employers find the skilled candidates that they need. The WOW Bus is unique to the Bucks County CareerLink office and is funded by the Bucks County Commissioners.

“I’m excited to partner with PA CareerLink locally to bring helpful job search services out into the community,” said Santarsiero. “Residents here in Bucks County are fortunate to have this mobile resource and I applaud the Bucks County Commissioners for investing in this resource for the community. Whether you’re a seasoned professional looking for new opportunities in your field, an individual looking to make a career change or just someone looking to freshen up your resume and practice some interview skills, this event is for you.”

The WOW Bus offers services including resume writing, teaching interview skills, assisting with job searching, and hosting recruitment events.

Sen. Santarsiero added, “Last October my office partnered with the WOW Bus and helped connect more than 30 constituents to job search resources in just a few hours. I’m partnering with the CareerLink team again to make sure constituents of my district have access to the best resources as they move ahead in their career.”

The Senator’s Help for Job Seekers Event will be on Wednesday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Britain Township Municipal Complex, 207 Park Avenue, Chalfont 18914.
