• Warehouse project shelved, but developer might have other plans for the central Pa. property (pennlive.com) — Supervisors in neighboring Watts Township have effectively killed a massive two-warehouse complex planned just outside Duncannon along Routes 11/15 and 22/322, but the land could still host a large data center. The developer, MRP Industrial, must restart approvals if it wants warehouses, and is now watching a pending zoning change that could allow data centers in the industrial district, a prospect already drawing vocal opposition from nearby residents.
   

• State Capitol building's Christmas tree is decorated with festive ornaments hand-made by Pennsylvania seniors (fox43.com) — Duncannon Senior Citizens’ Center is among the local groups whose handmade ornaments are decorating the Pennsylvania Capitol’s Christmas tree this season. Seniors from 93 centers in 36 counties contributed decorations that will remain on display in the Main Rotunda through January 8, offering Duncannon residents a personal connection to the state’s holiday showcase.
