Car Crash Leads to Drug, DUI Charges

An Easton man is facing drug and DUI charges following a crash Saturday night a few blocks from his home.

Anthony Nixon, 52, of the 1100 block of Washington Street, was involved in an accident at Washington and Union streets around 10:52 p.m., police said.

Following the accident, Nixon was arrested for driving while under the influence, as well as possession of Xanax and Suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana, reckless endangerment, and driving without a license.

Nixon will be charged via summons, police said.
