Easton Celebrates Bacon Fest This Weekend

Bacon lovers will converge on America's oldest open-air market this weekend to celebrate the world's tastiest cured meat.

Easton Bacon Fest is back! Bacon lovers will converge on America’s oldest open-air market this weekend to celebrate the world’s tastiest cured meat.

The Festival will be held between 9am and 3pm, Saturday and Sunday, at the Easton Farmer’s Market on Northampton Street.

The Festival features live music, culinary demos, “Bacon and Brew” tastings, pageants, contests, and pig races -- a Bacon Cocktail contest.

This year’s highlight, according to the event’s Facebook page, will be “The Dueling Swine” Pig Roast Competition between Two Rivers Brewing Company and 3rd & Ferry Fish Market. The two companies will slow roast pigs from Breakaway farms with unique formulas, and the public will choose the winner.

Admission is free.
