Lisa Boscola announces over $4.6 million for local projects in Northampton County (wfmz.com) — Easton is set to receive major state funding, including $150,000 for a new police evidence building and $375,568 for Larry Holmes Drive pedestrian safety upgrades. Additional money will support Easton event infrastructure and projects in nearby Northampton County communities, all part of more than $4.6 million in grants announced by Sen. Lisa Boscola. 
• Lehigh Valley airport therapy dog program celebrates 10 years of passenger support (PHOTOS) (lehighvalleylive.com) — Two Easton residents and their therapy dogs are among the volunteers comforting travelers through Lehigh Valley International Airport’s C.O.P.E. program, which just marked its 10th anniversary. With nearly 30 active dogs, the initiative aims to ease anxiety and brighten passengers’ days, giving local handlers a meaningful way to give back to the wider community.
• Warren Hills boys basketball rides defensive intensity to opening win over Voorhees (lehighvalleylive.com) — Lehigh Valley hoops fans will want to note that Warren Hills has added a home game against Easton on January 22, giving local followers another matchup to circle. The Blue Streaks opened their season with a strong defensive win over Voorhees, forcing 22 turnovers and riding senior guard Michael Dufner’s 17 points. Coaches credit conditioning and team chemistry for the early success.
