Easton Middle School Teacher Faces Child Porn Charges
Stephen A. Sullivan has been suspended without pay

An teacher has been charged with 100 counts of child pornography as well as indecent exposure, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of a child, according to news reports and court records.
Stephen Sullivan was originally accused of taking a 7-year-old girl to his Bath home after a Christmas shopping trip in 2009; he allegedly touched the girl inappropriately and made her watch child pornography. While investigating the incident, police allegedly found evidence of a collection of child pornography that included hundreds of items.
A March 3 letter sent home from the district states, “Easton Area Middle School 5/6 (grade) teacher, Steven A. Sullivan, has been suspended without pay as a result of his arrest on criminal charges.”

Sullivan posted bail on Tuesday and is set for a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. Monday before Magesterial District Judge John C. Capobianco.
Police searched Sullivan’s home in February and found images of pre-teen girls in various stages of undress, according to a Lehigh Valley Live report. The report notes that Easton school district students are not in the photos, according to Colonial Regional Police.
