Food Day, Immigration Rally Tuesday in Easton

Good morning everyone. It's Tuesday, Oct. 22. Let's take a look at what's happening today in Easton.
- As we mentioned Sunday, Mayor Sal Panto and other Easton officials will rally in support of Comprehensive Immigration Reform today at 5 p.m. in Centre Square.
- Lafayette College will mark National Food Day today with two programs: lunchtime forum on food and culture at 12:15 p.m., and a lecture by environmental ethicist and technology scholar Wyatt Galusky, who will present “Technology as Responsibility: Failure, Food Animals, and Lab-grown Meat, at 7:30 p.m. Both events will be held in room 104 of the Kirby Hall of Civil Rights.
- Easton City Council is scheduled to hold its committee meetings this evening at 6 p.m.
- Look for partly sunny skies today, with highs around 63.
