Lewis Black, Mural Fundraiser This Week in Easton
A look at what's happening each week in Easton.

Good morning, everyone. A new week is almost here, so let's see what's happening over the next few days in Easton.
- Comedian Lewis Black plays the first of two shows at the State Theatre Thursday at 8 p.m.
- Also at the State Theatre: The Priests, a classical musical group made up of three Catholic priests from Northern Ireland, performs Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
- The Nurture Nature Center hosts the opening of Isadore LaDuca's new exhibit "Seasons and Signs," Thursday at 6 p.m.
- Gershon Baskin, an expert on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, will speak at Lafayette College's Kirby Hall of Civil Rights auditorium Monday at 7:30 p.m.
- The Easton Main Street Initiative will hold a fundraiser to bring more art to the city's downtown Thursday at Rivals Sports Bar. The event runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., with all tips given to guest bartenders funding a new mural by artist Tom D'Angelo.
- There's a lot of city meetings this week: the zoning hearing board Monday at 6:30 p.m., the Recreation Board Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Redevelopment Authority Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and the Parking Authority Thursday at 7 p.m. All meetings take place at city hall.
- The Easton Area School Board has its monthly meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the school district office at 1801 Bushkill Drive in Forks Township.
- The Easton Area PTSA meets Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the high school library.
