Man Mugged in Downtown Easton

Police say three people attacked a man at Fourth and Northampton streets.

Easton police are looking for three people who assaulted and robbed a man in the city's downtown early Saturday morning.

According to police, the man was attacked near the intersection of Fourth and Northampton streets around 2:26 a.m.

His attackers took several items, including his cellphone and wallet. 

Police said two of the robbers were men: both of them black, one five feet, seven inches with a medium build, the other five feet, nine inches with a thin build.

The third robber was a black woman, with shoulder length hair and a thin build.

According to police, the victim was unable to provide any more information about the robbers' clothing or which way they went.

The man was treated for his injuries and released.
