NJ Man Broke Easton Officer's Wrist During Arrest

Lamar Dameon Grant, of Plainfield, NJ, has been charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

A police officer suffered a broken wrist while trying to arrest a man from Plainfield, NJ on October 18.

Easton police placed Lamar Dameon Grant, 32, under arrest for allegedly cursing in public. Grant resisted the arrest, according to Lehigh Valley Live. He tried to bump chests with Patrolman Jose Colon. Colon was taken to the hospital for evaluation where doctors found a fracture in his right wrist.

Grant was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. He was sent to Northampton County Prison. He has previously served time for a 2007 gang rape accusation.
