Outdoor Farmers Market Reopens Saturday
Easton Farmers Market begins 261st summer in Centre Square on May 4.

After more than five months indoors, the Easton Farmers Market moves back to Centre Square this Saturday.
The market's 261st season will begin at 9 a.m., with seven new vendors joining the line-up, along with new sponsorship from St. Luke's University Health Network – Anderson Campus.
Saturday's market day will feature a dramatic reading of “So God Made a Farmer,” a poem made famous by radio host Paul Harvey, as well as speeches by Mayor Sal Panto and state Representative Robert Freeman.

It's also National Herb Day, which means there will be a 10 a.m. talk by herbalist David Harder, and a noon demonstration by Valenca chef Abe Lopez.
Last year, the farmers' market began winter hours, operating out of the Nurture Nature Center from late November through April. In June, it will add a second day of operations in Centre Square, with hours from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
