• Northampton County awards 49 public safety grants to municipalities, agencies (lehighvalleynews.com) — Easton’s fire department and Emergency Squad are receiving a combined $60,000 in Northampton County public safety grants for a feasibility study and new ambulances. They’re among 49 police, fire and EMS agencies countywide sharing $600,000 to upgrade radios, vehicles, protective gear and other equipment aimed at strengthening emergency response for residents. 
• Eat, Sip, Shop: Lehigh Valley's new modern European restaurant to offer tasty eats, cozy vibes (wfmz.com) — Mother's Bar & Grille in downtown Easton is preparing for its final last call, with owners announcing the popular Lehns Court pub will close next week. The broader roundup also highlights new restaurant openings, business closures, and holiday events across the Lehigh Valley, but the Easton bar’s farewell is the most immediate change for local regulars.
