Planners also began exploring how to regulate large data centers in Easton’s zoning code.
   

4. Easton workshop aims to strengthen landlord-tenant relationships (wfmz.com) — Easton is rolling out its new “Home Easton” workshops to help renters and landlords better understand their rights, responsibilities, and city rules, with a strong focus on preventing evictions. The first session covered fair housing and mediation resources, and more workshops are planned for February 12 and March 12 to keep strengthening these relationships.
   

5. New Northampton County Executive previews summit in first report to council (wfmz.com) — Northampton County’s new executive, Tara Zrinski, is launching a summit at Northampton Community College to gather input on housing, environment, economic development and emergency management that will shape her first 100 days. County council also modernized the regional land development process, requiring digital plan submissions that affect municipalities including nearby West Easton, and recognized January as National Blood Donor Awareness Month.
