Phony Contractors Rob College Hill Home, Police Say
Easton police say men posing as Verizon workers/repairmen stole from an elderly couple.

Easton police are looking for two men who may have burglarized a College Hill couple Friday afternoon.
According to police, the couple was outside their home on the 600 block of Reeder Street around 2 p.m. when they were approached by the men.
One of them told the husband they were there on behalf of Verizon, replacing telephone polls in the neighborhood. The other man spoke with the wife, but said they were there to fix their neighbor's fence.
