ProJeCt of Easton Appoints New Director of Development
Arlene Lund, the new Director of Development, brings expertise from working at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.

Arlene Lund has joined ProJeCt as director of development. The announcement was made today by CEO Janice Komisor.
“Arlene brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will benefit the agency as we continue to navigate through challenging economic times and we’re thrilled to have her on our team,” Komisor said in a release.
Lund’s background includes years of service in the areas of education, government and non-profit. Most recently she served as vice president of operation and government relations with United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley where she provided organizational strategic direction and planning, directed the securement of grants, implemented operational cost savings, and led the first board-level public policy advocacy efforts. Lund has also served as program director for the Lehigh Valley Business/Education Partnership, district administrator for former Congressman Paul McHale, and advocate for the ARC of Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

ProJeCt is a community benefit human service agency founded by local clergy and community leaders in the wake of the King assassination and in response to the rising tide of poverty and social unrest of 1968. They provide an emergency assistance and food program, case management support services that assist people in developing life skills and moving to self-sufficiency and educational programs that include adult basic literacy, English as a second language, GED preparation, family literacy and supplemental education programs for school-age children.
