Sexual Assault Reported at Lafayette

Lafayette College police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on a female student over the weekend.

College spokesman Roger Clow said the assault happened on campus early Sunday morning.

The woman's attacker was a blonde male, more than 6 feet tall, Clow said. The student is not pressing charges, he said, but the college has increased security patrols.

"We alerted the campus community about this by sending a text message and email message through our e2Campus communication system shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday," Clow said in a statement. 

The incident is still under investigation.
