Sushi Restaurant Headed to South Side

Easton's South Side is apparently going to be home to a new sushi restaurant.

Ichiban Express is slated to open soon at 700B Philadelphia Road. It will offer in-house dining and take-out service, and serve sushi and "pan asian cuisine."

It will join an existing Dunkin Donuts and Subway in the same shopping center.

Last year, the Easton Zoning Hearing Board approved plans for a Chinese restaurant in the same space, and although its owners expected to open by the summer of 2012, the space was vacant until recently.
