'Thrift Shop' Duo Coming to Lafayette

Macklemore and Ray Lewis will headline spring concert open to all Lehigh Valley colleges.

"Thrift Shop," the hit single from rapper Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis has been all over the place this spring.

It's hit the top of the Billboard charts, shown up in a few movie trailers, and apparently even caused a bump in business at actual thrift shops.

Next month, Lehigh Valley college students will get a chance to hear the duo live when they headline Lafayette College's spring concert.

The show is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the college's Fisher Stadium. Tickets are free for Lafayette students, and $15 for students from Moravian, Muhlenberg, Cedar Crest, Lehigh and DeSales.

Although it's an all-ages show, the concert is geared toward college students, Lafayette notes on its ticket website.
