Trick or Treat Night, Cheeburger Opening This Week

Good morning everyone. A new week is almost here, so let's take a look at what's happening over the next few days in Easton.

1. Halloween is Thursday, which means trick or treating for kids in Easton (and Wilson and Palmer/Forks townships) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

2. Cheeburger Cheeburger will hold its grand opening Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 336 Northampton St. 

3. Professor David Lesch will discuss "Bashar al-Asad and the Disintegration of Syria" Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Lafayette College's Colton Chapel.

4. The Easton Area School Board meets Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.

5. The Easton Area Public Library's non-fiction book group meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Marx Room. On the agenda is Over-Dressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap Fashion by Elizabeth L. Cline, which discusses how the market became saturated with "overly cheap clothing."
