Trivia Night, Ice Cream Tuesday in Easton

Good morning everyone. It's Tuesday, Oct. 15. Let's take a look at some of the things happening today in Easton.

1. The city's recreation board meets this evening at 7 in city hall.

2. Rivals Sports Bar in Lehn's Court holds a trivia night (with 50 cent wings) tonight starting at 7.

3. Faouzi's Talk of the Town is going to shut down for a few weeks starting Saturday. They're at 1019 Northampton St., and offering $1.00 off on all soft-serve ice cream, and 50 cents off all Italian ice.

4. This isn't happening in Easton, but worth noting: volunteers with the Lehigh Valley chapter of Organizing for Action will rally outside U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey's Allentown office today at noon to call on him to help end the government shutdown and debt limit crisis.
