• Cambria County agencies discuss use of drone-delivered, rural medical care (wjactv.com) — Emergency officials are exploring medical drones that could launch directly from Ebensburg to reach rural patients faster than ambulances. Cambria County leaders and military medical researchers say these air ambulances could deliver critical supplies or even transport patients, positioning the county’s 911 center as a future hub for cutting-edge emergency response. 
• Authority, JAC reach tentative deal for management of War Memorial (wtaj.com) — A new seven-year management deal means Ohio-based JAC Management Group will take over operations of 1st Summit Arena in Johnstown and the North Central Recreation Center serving the Ebensburg area. Local leaders say the company’s track record with similar venues should help boost events and activity at these facilities, though financial details of the agreement haven’t been released yet.
• Greater Johnstown boys edge Westmont Hilltop (centredaily.com) — Ebensburg fans saw Bishop Carroll’s girls edge Central Cambria 47-43 at home, led by 19 points from Emily Lucko and 15 from Ava Pablic. The roundup also highlights several other boys and girls basketball matchups involving nearby Cambria County schools, with standout scoring performances across the region.
