Fire Department to Hold Home Safety Seminar

Emmaus Firefighters will be on hand from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Emmaus Fire Training Facility on Klines Lane to teach members of the community about home fire safety.

If you’ve ever wondered how exactly how to operate that fire extinguisher you have stashed in the corner of the kitchen or just what goes into creating a home evacuation plan, block your calendar for Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

That’s when the Emmaus Fire Department is holding a free Home Safety Seminar to help members of the community to better understand what to do in case of an emergency and to learn about some important tools they might want to have in their homes to help keep their loved ones safe.

During the program, which will be held at the Emmaus Fire Training Facility at 100 Klines Lane, participants will learn about:
