• Overnight house fire displaces two in Lower Macungie Township (wfmz.com) — Emmaus firefighters were among several departments called to an overnight house fire in Lower Macungie Township that left a Brighton Court home heavily damaged and two residents displaced. Crews arrived just before 1 a.m., rescued several pets, and knocked down flames coming through the roof, while the American Red Cross now assists the affected pair and investigators work to determine the cause.
