• Etna approves budget with no tax increase, fills council vacancy (triblive.com) — Etna’s 2026 borough budget keeps property taxes flat at 9.5 mills, though residents will see about a 10% increase in garbage collection fees on their utility bills. Council also appointed longtime resident Abigail Seeley to temporarily fill a 2nd Ward vacancy and confirmed several unopposed election winners, while longtime Council President Dave Becki prepares to step down after 35 years of service.
