Annual Forest Hills Tree Burning Set for Jan. 11

Trees will be collected by the Forest Hills Public Works Department prior to the ceremony.

There might be rain in the forecast, but Forest Hills will hold its annual Christmas Tree Burning Ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Forest Hills/Westinghouse Lodge on Barclay Avenue.

The Forest Hills Lions and Forest Hills Civic Association will serve hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate.

Trees can be put at the curb for pickup by borough public works crews. Trees can also be dropped off in the parking lot at the Forest Hills/Westinghouse Lodge on Barclay Avenue, just off Greensburg Pike.
