
A West Virginia man is accused of stealing copper wiring from a Home Depot in Wilkins Township and selling it at a Heidelberg scrap dealer, borough police in that community said.
Norman C. Ivady, 49, of Weirton, was charged Monday with receiving stolen property and drug law violations after local authorities received a tip from Wilkins Township police that a man matching Ivady’s description was trying to sell the stolen metal.
Heidelberg police found him with $110 in his pocket and a receipt from All American Metals along Industry Way.
