Forest Hills Boy Excels in Baseball Competition

Luke DelRosso, 8, of Forest Hills recently participated in three levels of Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit & Run competition.  

Forest Hills/Churchill Baseball Association hosted a local competition. The local winners went on to sectional competitions. DelRosso won at Forest Hills and then competed in the Penn Township sectional.  

From all sectional competitions in the Pittsburgh area, the top three in each age group participated at PNC Park. DelRosso finished a very close second place at PNC Park on Sunday, June 11 in the 7 to 8 year old age group.

There were 45 local competitions in the Pittsburgh area.
