Forest Hills Breaks Ground for New School

The junior and senior high school is slated to be completed within three years.

The Forest Hills school district held a ground breaking ceremony for a new school.

“It’s been a long adventure for the school district,” Superintendent Ed Bowser told WTAJ news.

All students in the school district attended the ceremony.

They hope to complete the new school in two and a half years. Contractors say they are prepared to work through the winter.

The three-story building comes with a price tag of $50 million. Administrators hope that the public will use the library, courtyard, and meeting rooms.
