Tires Slashed in the Area on Halloween, Continued Thursday
Several cars in the area have been targeted this week.

A rash of tires being slashed in the area on Halloween night continued Thursday, with two more reports coming from police.
Almost every car on Greendale and Race streets in the borough had their tires slashed Monday night, according to police. Three other cars were targeted on Pennwood Avenue.
Then, on Thursday night, police received a report that a car’s tires were slashed overnight at 149 Pennwood Ave. Another report of the same kind came in from 100 W. Hutchinson Street last night as well.

WTAE reported earlier this week that residents across Wilkinsburg and Swissvale boroughs in the area also were targeted.
If residents see anything suspicious, they are asked to call borough police.
