Annual meeting held Monday also will be a celebration of the organization's history.

United Cerebral Palsy Community Living and Support Services is celebrating its 60th anniversary of empowering people and creating communities during its annual meeting at 4 p.m. today at its Oakland location.
Kristy Trautmann, executive director of FISA Foundation, will serve as the keynote speaker. Trautmann will discuss philanthropic giving and the criteria foundations consider when funding organizations.
In addition to Trautmann’s presentation, will announce a philanthropic gift that will have a significant impact on the future of the organization. Maggie Guzzo, board of directors chairperson, said in a news release, “During a time when some nonprofit organizations are struggling for survival, UCP/CLASS is fortunate to be fiscally stable. The announcement to be made during the Annual Meeting will enhance that stability and demonstrate the confidence our consumers and the public place in us.”
