Wilkinsburg Hosts Art in the Park

The Borough of Wilkinsburg and the Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation will host Art in the Park events from 6 p.m. to 8:30 pm each Thursday starting this week.

The events will run through Aug. 25 at the parklet at 743 Penn Avenue. The weekly events will feature food, vendors, raffles, family fun and live music.

Weekly music performers include:

• Thursday: George Heid III Group (Center of Life)
• June 16: Coffe’s Soul Trane featuring Coffe
• June 23: The All Star Band featuring Will Maker
• June 30: DJ Bobby B and Wilkinsburg Idol
• July 7: Smooth Groove
