Woodland Hills Junior High Students Master K'Nex

Students place first in local competition

A group of students mastered the art of K'Nex at a competition Dec. 6, overcoming 25 other teams for the top spot.

The competition was held at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. Another Woodland Hills team won an honorable mention award.

The teams were coached by JH Gifted Coordinator Heather Nyapas. Students designed and built structures using K'Nex materials. First, they drew a blueprint and wrote a narrative about their creation to prepare.
