• Six now charged in Freeland fatal shooting (shensentinel.com) — Freeland residents are learning more about the fatal Dec. 2 shooting that killed an 18-year-old and injured a 15-year-old near a local business, as state police now say six people are charged. Five Hazleton men were recently arrested, with one suspect awaiting extradition from New Jersey, and all face criminal homicide and conspiracy charges.
