• Replacement of Waverly Road bridge in Cheltenham to begin late January 2026, full detour planned (glensidelocal.com) — Drivers near Glenside should prepare for a full closure of the Waverly Road bridge by Glenside Memorial Hall starting in early 2026, with traffic detoured via South Keswick Avenue and East Glenside Avenue. Pedestrian access to Glenside Hall will remain open throughout the multi-year project, which is funded at $3.1 million and expected to finish in April 2028.
   

• Starship Still Soaring At Philly Area Show (patch.com) — Glenside music lovers packed the Keswick Theatre as Mickey Thomas brought Starship’s biggest hits and holiday favorites to town, proving his voice still soars at 76. The set mixed Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and Starship classics with seasonal tunes and a John Lennon cover. For local classic-rock fans, it was a nostalgic tour through six decades of music history.
