2 Killed In Harrisburg Shooting; Suspect In Custody: Report
The early-morning shooting happened Wednesday in the 1300 block of Liberty Street, according to reports.
HARRISBURG, PA — A suspect has been taken into custody after two people were killed and multiple others were taken to nearby hospitals following an early-morning shooting Wednesday in Harrisburg, according to reports.
Police officers responded to the 1300 block of Liberty Street around 7 a.m. for a report of a "person in distress," CBS 21 reported. When officers arrived, they found five people inside the home — two were dead, the other three wounded.
According to CBS 21, the suspect reportedly fled and during a police pursuit hit a school bus carrying Mount Calvary Christian School students. No students were injured, CBS 21 reported citing Pennsylvania State Police. A police officer reportedly was injured during the chase.
