Susquehanna Police Search For Man Who Tried To Lure Girl, 10, Into His Car

Susquehanna police said the unknown man approached the girl Tuesday as she was walking to her bus stop and asked if she needed a ride.

HARRISBURG, PA — Susquehanna police are searching for a man they say attempted to lure a 10-year-old girl into his car Tuesday as she was walking to her bus stop.

The incident happened around 8:15 a.m. near North Progress Avenue and Timber View Drive, according to Susquehanna Township Police. The girl was approached by a man driving a newer-model, four-door white sedan, police said. He then asked the girl if she needed a ride and encouraged her to get into his car by waving his at her, according to police.

Police described the man as a white male with white hair in a tapered hairstyle. He had a thin build and no facial hair. He was also wearing a blue surgical mask and exposed a mole on his nose when he removed it, police said.
