PENNSYLVANIA — Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano posed for a photo wearing a Confederate Army uniform in 2014, according to a Reuters report that uncovered the photo taken at the U.S. Army War College.

Mastriano, who has faced criticism for his ties to right wing militias, was a faculty member at the college in Carlisle at the time.

The report indicates that while faculty were given the option of dressing as a historical figure, Mastriano is the only individual in the department in a Confederate uniform.
